Are you suprised that I'm posting? Yep, me too. I needed something to do this afternoon, so here's my site's new look and here we go again.
Life has been absolutely crazy in my house this past month. Mom started her new job as an elementary principal in Roseville, Ohio (just south of Zanesville, Ohio, 3 hours east of Greenville or an hour east of Columbus) on August 6. David left for college at Purdue on August 11. I was in Colorado for a week of briefing/training from August 13-19. There were numerous open houses and several private house showings. Rachel left for Mali, Africa last Thursday, August 30. My room is in complete disarray as I am in the process of packing to leave the country this Sunday, September 9. After that my dad will move out to be with my mom in Roseville just before they will come back for a final open house and to close the pool. on September 15.
So as I sit here eating my peanut butter and honey, I wonder if all of this is really happening. It still doesn't feel like it. Maybe we're all just at camp or something. Am I really moving half way around the world? It will take a while for everything to sink in - that my baby brother is really an adult, my sister is in the fourth poorest country in the world, my parents are starting over, and that this week is probably (and hopefully) my last in this house. *Sigh* All of this craziness just needs to be finshed, over, and done with.
